Reeling all the way back to where my childhood passion for photography began, I first developed a special love for stop motion. This terribly delicate and beautiful process taught me how to approach art through a broader lens. Where fog was made of cotton, eyes made of acorns and dried leaves, towns built on cardboard and glue, in tiny worlds that ceased to exist without collaboration, there was always a way to find magic in the ordinary.
As I carried this curiosity with me as my muses would change, I went on to study film in New York City. Here, I found myself most inspired by the fleeting places and faces all around me. Eager to capture the love I witnessed in all its forms, my art slowly became a concoction of films and photographs of the people around me. To remember them for who they were in that short moment in time.
In my journey of documenting love, my passion for the small and overlooked moments that paint the bigger picture has always been at the heart of my work. I specialize in working with couples who share a love for romantic, candid imagery while preserving the authenticity of their day. With a documentary-editorial style approach, I strive to artfully capture the present as the moment unfolds.
